Resumen

En la actualidad, la perspectiva de la calidad y prevención de errores en el laboratorio se centra en el proceso total de prueba y en la utilización de indicadores de calidad IC como herramientas que minimicen la probabilidad de afectación a los pacientes. El objetivo fue identificar indicadores de calidad para evaluar los errores en las fases del laboratorio Se realizó una investigación documental y descriptiva, en las bases de datos: Pubmed, Redalyc, ScienceDirect, WorldWideScience, Virtual health library, Google académico, ResearchGate del 2015 al 2022. Como resultado se obtuvo que la fase crítica del laboratorio con mayores errores es la preanalítica con un 68%, seguida por las posanalítica 47%, y en último lugar la fase analítica con un 13%. Se evidenció que, el Modelo de Indicadores de calidad (MIC) se enfoca principalmente en los indicadores de mayor prioridad (fase preanalítica). En los estudios se concluye la vulnerabilidad de la fase preanalítica y se enfatiza en la aplicación y el control de indicadores de calidad como una herramienta indispensable para identificar los pasos más críticos y reducir el riesgo de errores en esta fase.
